MARRIAGE.

what is marriage?

Marriage is the legally or formally recognized union of two people,man and woman,as life partners.

 The first marriage.

The first marriage was conducted in the garden of Eden.According to the bible,Adam,the first man to be created was put into a deep sleep by God and one of his rib removed,and closed up the flesh thereof.

  Genesis 2:21, "And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam,and He took one of his ribs,and closed up the flesh instead thereof".

After the LORD God had removed a rib from Adam,HE made a woman out of it and took her to Adam,and she became his wife.

           Genesis 2:22 ,"And the rib,which the LORD God had taken from man,made he a woman,and brought her unto the man".

Adam named her a woman because she was taken out of a man.

                                   Genesis 2:23,"And Adam said,This is now bone of my bones,and flesh of my   flesh:She shall be called ,woman because she was taken out of man".

Unlike these days that a man leaves his father and mother and cleaves unto his wife according to instructions from the LORD God,Adam and Eve had no parents to leave,but God joined their marriage.

                          Genesis 2:24,"Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother,and shall cleave unto his wife:and they shall be one flesh"

MAY THE LORD'S WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.
